Today is the day that I am celebrating losing my virginity! HA! My YOUTUBE cherry has officially been popped so of course I had to share!!
But First...
MY SHORT POCKET STORY:
I started this journey of self discovery waaaay back in 2012, shortly after I had my AMAZING son! After what may have been a slight case of Postpartum I hired a Life Coach! YES, that happened. Don't Judge, To date, she is the best investment I've ever made but we'll talk about life ish later!
Ok on to POCKETS…
My life coach asked me what made me happy and POCKETS made the list! In fact it was the only thing on the damn list : /
Fast Forward to NOW..
I own an on-line boutique called POCKETT (Pocket spelled with one T was already taken) and the rest was history!!
So why YOUTUBE and why NOW?
Reason #1: I'm Facing my Fears in 2015:
Honestly, it's one of the biggest fears I've had to over come this year (we'll talk fears at a later date) Being in front of the camera Freaks Me OUT! So here's to my first attempt to KICKING FEARS ASS by making my First youtube video!
Reason #2: I've been talking to myself sense I was little girl! Time to share my random ass views with the world!
That's right, I would lock myself in a bathroom and imagine myself on all sorts of Talk shows! At the time it was all about Rick Lake! Loved Her! I have always had an interesting way of viewing things in life. I was recently diagnosed with ADHD buuuut I've suffered from billions of thoughts in at one time for most of my life! YouTube has been a GOD sent when
Reason #3: A platform to share my views on Fashion & Style!
So Fashion became of interest to me in 2000, my senior year in high school! My sister went off to college and this was the first time I experienced a life with out my better half! As scary as being alone was for me, as much as I hated the idea, it was time to find my own way and I did that through my personal style and designing. This was a completely unexpected interest for most of my friends and family because I had a built a brand as the Girl who didn't give a F-U-C-K about my appearance! I prided myself on rolling my black ass out of bed and into the world that I thought was created to kiss it! ( I had major issues y'all, just sayin)
Fast Forward to today…..
I still have issues but my interest in Fashion has helped my own personal style evolved into unique expression all it's own! It's effortless and it works for me!

TRUST ME IT'S RANDOMLY INTERESTING AND SOOOO LEFT FIELD YOU GUYS MIGHT ACTUALLY LIKE IT!
Reason #5: IT'S VERY THERAPEUTIC
Let's be clear I have issues and I have A LOT on my mind! I refuse to keep it bottled up PLUS I love FEEDBACK, so bring it on! It's how I grow!
